Education

Wouldn’t it be wrong to say that the people who live in slum areas or the slum kids are known as the most underprivileged, deprived and weaker section of our society. They even feel isolated themselves from the other sections of the population. On the other hand, slum’s broods are mostly not aware about the significance of education , though it is vital for their enhancement and overall development. Moreover that, they have to face a huge number of problems in attaining education other than financial incapabilities…

A pioneering step of ‘Shuruaat’ towards slum kids education

By considering education as a fundamental right of every child of our society ‘Shuruaat: Ek jyoti shiksha ki’, (A non-profit organization) provides all necessary education for five years to slum kids across Prayagraj city. Today, more than 150 shanty children up to class 12th are getting free education from four different branches of the institution.

Now shuruaat has been moving towards quality education and ‘Shuruaat’ futuristic goals regarding slum education

Presently, ‘Shuruaat’ is providing quality education to it’s promising slum students with the help of a computer smart class, a library, PPT projects and a science lab where every volunteer of ‘Shuruaat’ is committed to provide better quality education to these pupils.

Although ‘Shuruaat’ has already taken steps towards quality education, in future the institution wants to bring these smart class facilities in a more broad and organized way.Product, Review, Listing, How To, Event, FAQ, Video schemas
A sports room with all sports accessories for those students who wish to make their career in sports.
Seeing the interest of many girl students in dance and music, the institution also wants to construct a music cum dancing room for them, although the institution has already appointed a dance and music teacher.
To arrange various types of ‘Teaching, learning and gaming activities’ for shanty little students for their educational and proper mental growth. These types of ‘TLM’ activities will definitely increase their interest in learning.

According to the ‘National Sample Survey Office’ (NSSO) report published in India Today- Approximately 32 million Indian slum and urban- rural children up to 13 years of age have never attended any school because of their financial constraints. they even face difficulties to get one time meal. In such circumstances, ‘Shuruaat’ is going to start a ‘Mid-Day Meal’ program to sort out the hunger problem in slum kids as well as to increase literacy rate in the country. Which would prove to be a genuine step of the organization to make our nation educate. Smart education plus living solution for slum brilliants ‘Shuruaat’ upcoming project is to take these slum children to the mainstream of education and get them admitted in boarding schools to find an accurate solution for their accommodation during studies. So that, they come out as good and responsible citizens.
