Abdul Kalam Shiksha Kendra has been a beacon of hope for underprivileged children who were previously denied access to education. In many cases, parents were hesitant or unable to send their children to school due to financial constraints, lack of awareness, or societal barriers. Recognizing this, Shuruaat took the initiative to bring education directly to their doorstep. By setting up learning spaces within their communities and adopting a compassionate, child-centric approach, the Kendra not only made education accessible but also encouraged parents to support their children’s learning journey. What makes this initiative even more impactful is that the teachers themselves are senior students and alumni of the Shuruaat Foundation—young individuals who once received support from the organization and are now giving back by educating others. Over time, these efforts have helped instill a love for learning among the children and opened up new possibilities for their future.

Abdul Kalam Shiksha Kendra, located at Takia Kabristaan Basti in Daraganj, was established on 1st January 2025 with the aim of educating underprivileged children in the area. Many of these children were previously out of school, as their parents were either unwilling or unable to send them due to various socio-economic challenges. In response, Shuruaat brought education to their doorstep, creating a safe and accessible space for learning within their own community. Since its inception, the center has enrolled over 60 students and continues to grow. By breaking down barriers to education and fostering a love for learning, Abdul Kalam Shiksha Kendra is transforming young lives and building brighter futures.
